This year was also a strange fall for me because, for the first time in over 12 years, I wasn't returning to an academic program in September. But I will be cashing in on returning to winter term when I start teaching in January. Which reminds me, I need to start writing some lectures!

The transition from school to work is a big one. I found it hard to adjust at first, but what's really nice is the direction of money reverses -- instead of paying tuition, they pay you!
That collar is seriously bad ass.

That is a fantastic studded collar - and somehow no matter how long it's been since going to school in the fall, it always just feels like that is where I should be going.

Fall is such a fabulous time of year. Over the weekend we lost most of our leaves and the commute looked completely different this morning. I'm definitely missing the beautiful colors and can't believe that gray days are here already. :( Guess we'll have to add color & fun to our lives through our wardrobes, that collar is a great start!

Love your jacket. I am all about embellished collars right now. Fall is my favorite time of the year too and I would love for it to be year round as well. We just had a freak snow storm here last night/this morning. Snow in October is almost unheard of in Kentucky.
