Leather Loves

I think I’ve recently mentioned my all-consuming love for faux leather accents this fall?

Leather Loves

Are you into this fall’s faux leather accents?

In other local happenings news, I recently attended an event celebrating the launch of AMOR jewelry and Suka Clothing's new collections at Edmonton’s own Bamboo Ballroom – check out the blog on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for more on that...BTW, it was amazing and the clothing was perfection.

In unrelated to fashion news - I was featured in the American Historical Association's Member Spotlight this week! You can check it out here and learn all about my work as a historian and academic.

I bought a wool jacket just like the one above, with the faux leather sleeves from Asos last weekend, maybe it's the same one!

Congratulations on the feature! I'm sure it is well deserved. The maroon/oxblood dress is very daring but something about it makes me want to get it!!

I've been liking the fake leather pants trend. I'm not sure if I'd wear a pair very often, but they sure look great when I see them on bloggers.

I love them too, but faux leather or genuine leather is not so curve friendly

Congrats on the feature! And now I think it's high time to reward yourself with some of these pieces. Holy mother of all take one of each.

I have really been loving leather lately. It wasn't really anything I had ever been that interested in until the last few months. I would love to have a leather skirt and a moto jacket.

I totally covet that burgundy/oxblood dress! I recently bought a boucle blazer with leather accents, and I think it's the favorite piece of clothing I've bought this fall/winter.
