Weirdo
I realize that this sounds a little bizarre but I am a big fan of wearing skirts and dresses in cold weather whereas I prefer pants in summer (and, yes, these photos were taken just before the massive snow dump that hit Edmonton). Weird, right? Anyways, now that colder weather is upon us, I love being able to toss on some thick tights and a warm jacket and pair it all with a dress. Like this sequin number that I wore as a skirt by adding a layered shirt over top of. I was going for lunch/tea at Edmonton’s historical Rutherford House (the place where I got married, BTW) with the awesomely fun Sandy of The Pretty Secrets.

Sequins are appropriate for everything. It's funny that you prefer skirts/dresses in the winter and pants in summer for sure. But to be fair i think warm wool tights and a dress in the winter is way warmer than jeans.
I didn't know you could go for tea at the rutherford house, I am out of the loop evidently

I pretty much hate wearing tights these days, so i've been going for pants a lot more.
I haven't been minding wearing dresses/skirts on the colder months lately. Sequins are definitely appropriate for tea!!
I don't think it's weird at all. I do the same thing; in part because I ride my bike to work and tights dry more quickly, but I also like the layering.

Sequins are a go for ANY occasion. And I'm with you, gurl. I cannot stand wearing pants, period, so I love them for the colder months, especially with tights!

Sequins are ALWAYS appropriate for tea. ;) I love that skirt. And that coat is pretty fabulous too.
