I also broke one of my cardinal rules in this look – leggings are not pants. But I think pairing then with a loose fitting blouse and a long blazer rendered it not totally inappropriate. I’m a bit shell-shocked when it comes to leggings as pants I’m afraid. Living in London and riding the Tube through Leicester Square and having all manner of foreign asses coupled with nothing but ill-fitting leggings and heels and an equally ill-fitting top will do that to you.

I think that if you're wearing a top that covers the lady bits and ass, you're fine. Also, the material is thick enough as pants! LOVE it paired with that blazer!

Those boots are totally rad! And I don't throw that term around lightly. Ok maybe I do...haha. But still.
Ha! yes, seeing from that perspective but the truth is that I love them and liquid leggings are 'special'. They are so dressy and trendy that can completely make regular outfit stand out and look very attractive.
I love your outfit that blazer has all my attention since 1st time I saw unfortunately Zara never has my size or they run out of the cutest things in a second.

I've seen my fair share of leggings as pants that should never, ever have been worn as such, but you do not even come near that category. It can be done, as long as you do it right!

True, leggings are not pants... which I must admit I wanted to shout a few times while on the Tube in London... but I think the rule does come with a but, in that if your leggings are a particular style, like the leather-look ones you're wearing, fit well and are not pilled, you can get away with wearing them as pants under the right outfit circumstances - which this outfit definitely is :)
