Weekend Reading:
- This sculptural installation in Ireland is amazing!
- Dunkin’ Donuts is like a mad scientist that must be stopped. This is like the Frankenstein of breakfast sandwiches.
- You guys – tiny books!!!!
- This is just so awesome – there’s a Gizmo gargoyle in here!
- Well, I guess it’s good to know there’s the potential for a part-time modeling career in my future. Right?
- These photographs of Detroit really are stunning.
- Have you ever heard of Chiune Sugihara, the Japanese diplomat in Lithuania during World War II who saved as many as 6000 Jews by issuing unauthorized visa to them and was later honoured as one of the Righteous Among the Nations? Neither had I and I’m glad I got to know a little about him.
- Some super fun facts about English social history.
- The academic job market is a brutal and soulless place. Not having to deal with messes like this makes me happy that I found an alternate career path. Lean in? More like lean in and get screwed.

Oh man, just read the slate article!! How terrible. As someone who's just barely found a full time librarian job after searching for a year post graduation and working three part time jobs in the meantime, it's so scary to get to the point of the job offer! I'm still afraid it will get rescinded. I read Lean In, it's a great book. I wonder if this is a case of leaning in too much?
Oh my, what a perfect cocktail set! I have more wine glases and tumblers than I know what to do with as it is, but that doesn't stop me thinking how much I wish I could stumble upon something similar :)

What an amazing find! I would love to join you for cocktail hour!
i'm obsessed with vintage bar wear. i'll take a glass of whatever you're having! ;)
I love the design on those glasses, and the cocktails that would go in them, of course. Can you believe there aren't any Dunkin Donuts where I live? It's crazy!
Really love vintage barware - these are awesome.
