Heat
There is absolutely nothing at all remarkable in any way about this outfit – what’s remarkable is that, considering how ungodly hot it was outside that day, I’m not melted in these photos and haven't totally snapped and tried to throttle someone. Yeah, I really don’t like the heat. I tried to stay cool in a loose fitting, cotton top (I refuse to give up my black duds though) but it was still pretty miserable. So miserable, in fact, that all my plans the night before to get some research done for my latest academic project were totally derailed as I was forced to take an extended heat nap in my deliciously cool basement.

Sorry to hear that the heat is getting you down, but at least you get to bring out cute polka dot tops, and you know of course, it wont last - summer will be over before you know it!

I like the polka dots!

You're brave to still wear jeans a lot, haha. I would be dying in them! But yes, this heat is no fun! We don't have air conditioning in the living room so it gets pretty hot while I work

It IS hot lately - but good for you for wearing what you like! You totally made it work. Xo, S
My ALL time FAVE print for summer! Polka dots! Love it paired with a little stud action...sweet and fierce honey!

I feel your pain, I really do. Especially the refusing to give up black part - I simply will not let the sun get in the way of my wearing the clothes I love! Stubborn much?
xox,

Dude I know what you mean. I pretty much stay indoors when I know the temps are going to be above 80. Heat naps. Heat naps for realz.
You look cute even though you were probably sweating buckets!
The humidity/heat can be pretty miserable in the summer. You look so cute in this outfit though!
