Post-Punk

Keeping up the theme of a post from last week (coloured pants, that is), here’s a particularly obnoxious pair that are amongst my favourite. These are like a sartorial homage to my more overtly punk style of dress in high school and my early years of university. Nowadays I’m cultivating a more professional look – but always with a dash of punk thrown in.

pants: Simons / top: thrifted, Value Village / blazer: H&M / shoes: Zigi Soho / necklace: Monserat de Lucca

Those pants are so fun! If they weren't skinnies I'm not sure they'd work, but that really makes it more modern, but still punk! :D

Printed pants are a trend I never thought I'd wear myself, and now it turns out I love them. The plaid make such a bold statement, and I love your studded shoes.

Obnoxious? I don't know. But hard to pull off... definitely. I had plaid pants once. Disastrous. You wear them with such style though!

I love these plaid pants! I almost bought a pair last fall and I have a little bit of regret for leaving them behind.

I love those pants! They add dimension to all black and it is refreshing to see red and black again!

Oh my gosh, I love these trousers and you look amazing in them! I'd love a pair like these but not sure they'd suit me.

Great pictures and post :)

I don't know why, but when you wear these pants with that blazer...everything just works!
