I'm other news, I'm off to a conference this morning (the Western Conference on British Studies, to be precise). I don't present my paper until tomorrow but am really looking forward to a great line up of panels this afternoon. See you all on Monday!

- I am so into all the spooky décor items that Z Gallerie is selling.
- Really Jeopardy? Really? The game show (which is a personal favourite of mine, making this all the more aggravating) had a category on “what women want” and it was really offensive.
- My love-hate relationship with Buzzfeed continues…although this list is pretty good.

Well, you got some pretty shells in your collection! And they're great to put in shelves as decor. Hope you have a lovely time in the conference, and I'm sure your paper will be amazingly received! As for Buzzfeed-- I totes hate and love it at the same time too.

I don't know about that chateau, looks like a bit of a money pit.
Most of the 'inventions' are pretty gross, but what is wrong with plastic wrap? I mean, aside from the environment killing plastic I think its the most actual useful invention on the list.
Car eyelashes. They are cute. I'm not disgusted by them, and they are better than the reindeer antlers. Maybe.

I like shells too because they remind me of the beach. I don't think it's weird at all! Hope you have a great time at the conference.
I've never considered decorating with shells - fear of the ocean and all - but I actually really love the way the first one looks. Enjoy the conference!

I don't think it's weird at all. My mum has many of shells in her bathroom decor. I used make candles with shells too. Cannot believe that Jeopardy episode, wow!
