I’ve always loved this portrait of Elizabeth as a teenager, and the rich red tones (and intricate embroidery on her gown) are a highlight for me.
My all time image of Elizabeth is this image of her in full coronation regalia. You’ve got to love an ermine cape.
And, finally, the Ditchley Portrait, perhaps one of the most iconic images of Elizabeth. This one of full to the seams with iconography!
Weekend Reading:
- Want to see some gorgeous vintage hotel interiors? Sure you do.
- Elizabeth Banks stepped out recently in Elie Saab and totally killed
it. I can barely express how awesome I find this gown.
- Faux beauty queens for hire in Mongolia. This is so weird … and interesting.
- This new exhibit sounds totally fascinating … too bad I’m not in Toronto.
- I cannot wait for this new documentary on Banksy to come out. And I am totally convinced that Banksy is a lady.

They are so cool! I think it's cool that you have so many, it's not like they're all exactly the same, ha ha

That is a regal problem to have! You have such great collections, and I love how you use them so effortlessly to decorate your home!
now where can i get an ermine cape?
What an interesting collection to have. Quite predictably, pretty much all of my art is Paris-thered, which isn't nearly so original ;)
xox,

Under 10? That seems hardly a problem. Before double digits you are totally safe. And all your prints are different, and pretty.
Love the old hotels, why does it seem that things just get worse when they should be getting better? Where are the grand foyers of the world, and pools like that?

Great collection. I think you're fine, its not embarrassing. Love this, only because I have loads of books and intricate design photos of Elizabethan looks, because I used to be a costumer. The Elie Saab dress is stunning.
