Weather Surprises

Edmonton got hit with another dump of snow and temperatures dropped but right before that happened it was seriously so nice here (in January) that I wore this, basically a sweatshirt and a fall jacket, to sit outside on a patio for like 2 hours from 5-7 pm to have some beers with friends. And by the end of it my hands were pretty chilly but overall I was pretty warm. For Edmonton in January that’s mind blowing!

The fact that Edmonton could ever look this warm and sunny in January is absolutely mind boggling to me. At least you got a chance to really enjoy it, though!

It's great that you were able to enjoy some time on the porch with friends. Over the weekend we enjoyed the 50s here and I spent a few hours on the porch reading.

Love the jacket, can you believe it was patio weather in January??

Your grey coat does look so cozy, and it's always a blessing when we get thrown a warm day amidst all the cold and snow.

Still, even if it were warm for January, I can't imagine sitting outside for two hours, especially after dark!

I see grass! What insanity? It actually got up to 70F here a few days back, but now it's back to frigid temps and snow in the forecast.

I love that coat!
