Head Cold Hell

When I got back from Edinburgh I immediately came down with a killer cold/flu that made me incredibly miserable for a couple of weeks and extended my time away from work by a few extra days. When I was finally feeling well enough to actually venture out of the house, I did it in this amazingly comfy and cozy sweater that I picked up in Scotland, layered over a plaid jumper that I also picked up there. I don’t think I could have made it through the day without something this comfy to wrap myself in.

dress: Primark / sweater: New Look / boots: Steve Madden / necklace: Aldo

Cozy sweaters really do make everything better. Sadly, the reality of air travel is ensuing head colds and flus - there's nothing like spending nine hours in a chamber full of recycled air - but at least you had cute new clothes to wear when you recovered!

What a bummer you got sick as soon as you came home, but at least it wasn't while you were away! Love the grey sweater, exactly the kind of thing you just want to cuddle up in!

POOO! I hate it when that happens. I had a super massive awful head cold a couple weeks ago too, and it wouldn't go away. Magically, when I went on vacation to Boston, it disappeared!

LOOOOVE that coat!
