All the Frills: Fussiness

I tend to be really anal and detail oriented when it comes to my jewellery. I think I might actually spend more time fussing over the details of accessories than I do on putting together actual outfits. It’s weird. Anyways, this was the end result of me carefully curating my accessories one evening in advance of the next day (that’s right, I’m a lay-my-clothes-out-the-night-before kind of gal). Does anyone else get as fussy about the details as I do?

i don't wear jewelry at work--the kids pull it off and i scratch them by accident with it--but i do this for a night out or such. always have the best links!!

I always think that it's jewelry that makes an outfit, particularly if you tend to wear a lot of dark colours, so I spend a lot more time curating my accessories than my wardrobe. You do have some wonderfully sparkly pieces!

Yes, I totally lay some of my accessories out the night before. It saves me time, especially since I usually have to get up in the wee hours of the morning at times. Great jewellery pieces!

I SHOULD be more fussy about the details, haha. Lately (especially for work), I've been just throwing on outfits and forgoing much accessorizing. Hmm... Maybe spring will change this? Perhaps I'm just winter-weary. :)

I've been known to switch a necklace five times before feeling happy with it - I tend to chalk that up to having too many options, haha. But I totally get where you are coming from.

GIRL-- you know I LOVE details in jewelry! I am currently sporting some earrings molded from tarantula fangs and pterodactyl ones for my second holes. The wishbone earrings are adorable-- and i need them so I can have a wishbone set! (I have a necklace so far)

Also-- that Bosch link! I recently went to an exhibit here on Bosch and his imitators where there were tons on display and I pretty much camped at the museum for the entire day. It was AMAZE.
