I don’t do any holiday baking, I try to avoid holiday parties, I spend most of December complaining about basically everything, and I abhor Christmas shopping (yeah, I’m basically the Grinch) but give me some sparkly tinsel, some tiny lights, and a lot of glittery ornaments and I can make my peace with things. As you can see, I went my usual overboard self this year!
Weekend Reading:
- I guess the best way to caption this is “mystery of the mummified knees solved!”
- This is some seriously creepy art.
- This article, about the search for the Woggin (repeatedly mentioned by whalers in earlier centuries), is wonderfully entertaining.
- And I doff my cap to you, members of the Satanic Temple. Keep fighting the good fight.
- Ireland’s abortions laws really, really need to change. This is disgraceful.

Ha ha, I'm totally a Grinch - there aren't even any decorations in my apartment, just a small pile of presents on a side table in the corner of the living room! I always tell myself that one day when I have more space I'll consider decorating. So far, that day hasn't come ;)

Looking good! Sooo sparkly! I'm definitely not a grinch though, haha. Give me those cookies and family get togethers!! (Although I don't buy many gifts, haha, just the parents, grandparents, Lydia (haha) and a secret santa with the siblings)

I love the decorations! Also, you have two Christmas trees?!!
Haha, reading you was like reading me ! Must admit that i hate how its all overboard about the gifts, how crowded places get and how crazy traffic can get. I live in a main avenue and the mayor had the "great" idea of decorating all of the trees around my apartment and its brought a huge amount of traffic up until midnight, its like totally crazy, like people have not seen white lights before. To that let me add that all the road is a mess, full of potholes-talk about priorities...
I love the decor, specially the lights hanging off the curtain rod, what a great idea.
I used to decorate, but haven't in a few years. Not sure why... I certainly love admiring other people's decorations- like yours! So pretty!
