Little Black Dress

I’ve recently been on the hunt for a new little black dress – not only a wardrobe classic but a staple for me given my proclivity for donning black pretty much all the time – and I fell in love with this one that I found after scouring the racks at my local Winners.

I love the little detail on the neckline and that it both has long sleeves and pockets. I have seriously never met a dress with pockets that I didn’t love. I's also enjoying it's relaxed fit, which will make it great for long days at work, where after a few hours in a more fitted piece I start to get very uncomfortable and desperately want to go home to put on something more comfortable.

dress: Daniel Rainn / booties: Camper / choker: Stella & Dot

Good little black dresses are pretty much essential for every situation in life - and this looks like a really good one. I wear my favourite LBD pretty much once a week despite the fact that I work from home and most of my wardrobe for daytime is made up of sweatpants, which I think really speaks to how strongly I feel about them ;)

Ooh yes! I do love pockets! And the little detail at the neck is so fun!

I like the detail in the neck and the moment I read "pockets" I was sold. What is it with pockets ? I think in a way they are a safety blanket...

For me it's always those little details that sell me on a piece! Why have just another black dress when you can have one with an accentuated neckline and pockets? Nice find.
