Things I Won't Be Missing About Pregnancy

You know what I will not miss about being pregnant? It’s a pretty long list but appointments with my ob-gyn are pretty near the top. Understandably you’re working around their schedule (which by necessity is determined by when their patients go into labour and how long that labour lasts) but the result is that you have little to no say in when your appointments are scheduled and then you typically hang about in the waiting room for hours waiting to be seen. And, for all that, the appointment itself (unless your weigh in, preeclamypsia test, or blood pressure are "off," or the doctor wants to do a cervix check) lasts for 10 minutes! I guess the upshot is that I’m getting a lot of reading done…

That sounds super frustrating, my cardiac appointments are usually 4 hours long but only happen once every few years now. The doctors office is the wooorst.

Oh good grief, I can only imagine how frustrating that must be - I'm the kind of person who doesn't even enjoy Disneyland because I hate waiting :P

Ugh, the appointments would be so annoying- I hear you, doll. I hate waiting for doctors- I always feel like I'm in the waiting room/in the exam room waiting to be seen longer than I'm with the actual doc.

Love that jacket!
Haha yea, doctors stink in that way! And I bet OBGYNs are way worse for the reasons you stated, haha!

There's nothing worse than Doctors appointments / waiting around. I do my fair share because of my health issues and it's brutal! But yes, upside, I get lots of reading done, or I catch up on my emails!! ;) And LOVE your gorgeous coat!!

That is a fantastic jacket! The cut and mixed texture stripes are gorgeous.
There is nothing worse than having to spend extended periods of time in a waiting room. At least we live in an age where it's okay to not have to make small talk there to boot.
