Weekend Reading:
- This book about an Indian school of scientists predating several of Newton’s key discoveries looks fascinating (although I’m not sure I’m convinced of the author’s ideas concerning the transfer of said knowledge to Newton).
- There are a lot of misconceptions about kilts and their history and the historian in me has always been very irritated by it … this article soothes me.
- Remember that rediscovered da Vinci that recently sold at an incredibly high price? Well, the author of this piece has doubts about its authenticity and makes some pretty convincing points.
- This photo series, entitled Afro Art, is beautiful.
- I think you’ll be hard pressed to a find more hilarious headline than this.

That little Paddington bear is such a sweet addition to the nursery, and I love all the photos, too.

Is that Paddington? :) The gallery shelf is super cute.
That looks like a very lovely space for her, and I especially love the star.
