Winter Has Finally Foiled Me

Worn for a walk in the fall – I tried to cram as many of them in before the weather totally turned on me and getting out with the baby became difficult. I feel a bit like I’ve been hoisted on my own petard (as the kids say…kids say that, right?), what with my love of winter and all being complicated this year by the reality of having a baby, which means I can’t get out as much as I’d like to already and winter just augments that.

I can imagine that a cold Canadian winter with a new baby has the potential to be a very isolating time - and even worse if it's your favourite season but you're not able to really enjoy it.

Girl, I am loving these leggings- and that plaid wrap looks super cozy. Hope you're able to get out and enjoy the winter weather soon!

I know getting out of the house with a baby is hard enough when you don't have to dress them in layers and then try to get those layers buckled into a car seat! But where there is a will there is a way, and I hope you get to enjoy your favorite season more.

On the bright side, its very likely that next year you'll take those walks with Eleanor ;)
