And starting to go back into the office was every bit as magical as I thought it would be! I like my job, I love my co-workers, and I almost always feel challenged and engaged at the office – I’m so happy to have that time every week to step out of being a full-time caregiver and engage with adults again. Anyways, this is what I wore for my first official day back. I’m obsessed with the sleeves on this dress…

Oh yes, LOVE those bell sleeves!
I feel like full time moms are not given the credit they deserve, to be home with a baby 24/7 sounds like one of the most stressful jobs there is. Glad you've been able to transition back to work, and I'm sure that having adult interactions being a larger part of your week can only help make you a better mom.

Look at us both wearing black and blue today! I love those sleeves!
I feel like I would be the same as you, I would slowly ease back into work and since I work from home it would be a bit easier to to do. I don't understand why people think you love your child less if you go back to work sooner. Some people love what they do, and that's awesome!

You really are lucky to have a job that you like well enough, and co-workers that you love enough, that you couldn't bring yourself to stay away from the office for eight months. I was away from work for five months this year and honestly, I could have let that time go on forever. If you love your job, you should get to be there and do it - no matter what anyone else things :P
xox,

Blue and black look so good together, sometimes i forget that.
8 months is a long time, here maternity leave is just 3 months... I have to admit I think I would go insane being home that long.
You look amazing! Love your dress!!

You look magical! Love this dress and that necklace is awesome. It's so great you love your job that much and screw anyone who says that's bad momming. That's such an old opinion and so ridiculous.
