It was still pretty chilly out in mid-April (seriously, it was like -5 and there was nasty wind) when I took these. I spent the better part of three days living in this black cowl type scarf – boring, I know, but it was just too bitterly cold not to. At least I added some interest via jewelry. I mean I should get partial credit for that, no?

I feel like there is a way to combine the practical pieces that winter cold requires and still maintain your style. Jewelry is a big part of it, but quite honestly, so is just not giving up completely and surrendering to the comfort of a Canada Goose jacket - the struggle is real, so I applaud you for getting yourself this together ;)

I had decidedly the most boring style all winter, and when it's cold far longer than it should be, I feel like it just really sucks out all desire to get creative. Comfort is king, and I think you get credit for the necklace and the blazer.

Yes you can have the credit !
Your accessories are always so edgy and right on.
Transitional seasons are the best and the worst at the same time! You never make all black look boring, love the gold jewelry as accents
