I am also on somewhat of a velvet kick lately (one of my favourite trends from the 90s) and was glad for a bit of a cooler day weather-wise so I could wear this black velvet dress. Then, a day or two later, it was my red velvet blazer’s turn to be taken out for a spin. It’s pretty much officially now too warm here to wear these again for a while but I was really happy I snuck them both in.

I'm a velvet fan, too- been far too hot recently here in KC for it, though, so I'm jealous of you! :)

I had no clue velvet was from the 90's... I LOVE IT as if it were always in style. I don't wear it much as its always hot here but here and there velvet comes into rotation. I have black velvet trousers, a bright blazer, shoes and just yesterday I dropped off my velvet dress at the consignment shop as I chose not to get it altered.
I like both of your velvet garments, specially that luxe blazer.
I love velvet too ! Definitely my favorite fabric, haha. It's just so soft and fun!

So much velvet! I am loving it all, perfect to transition to fall too! It’s too hot right now but it’s been perfect earlier this week

Velvet was my absolute favourite in the nineties. In seventh grade, I was known for my impressive collection of velvet tops - I think I had about seven, which at the time and for my age was almost equivalent to a hundred, ha ha. I haven't gone for velvet as much as I've gotten older but I admit, I still do love a good red velvet piece. Your blazer is gorgeous.

All my velvet is officially waiting for fall at this point, but it's great you managed to get a couple more wears in!
