Getting in a Few More Sandal Wears

Just like my trusty leopard flats, a black sandal with a touch of heel is another closet staple for me. And now that I’m driving to work everyday (I’m in charge of getting Eleanor to and from childcare each day so driving is essential) rather than having a 50 minute bus commute that always involves lots of standing, it’s much easier to be in heels for a good portion of the day without being in utter agony.

The weather here is also now officially turning cool (there's even talk of some light snow in the next few days) and, while I'm thrilled for the onset of fall, I'm also trying to just get in a few more wears of sandals before I pack them all up until next May.

Are you excited for fall weather or sad to see summer go?

I have very mixed feelings about fall, which is basically already here in Winnipeg. On the one hand, I welcome the opportunity to wear all my favourite sweaters and coats. On the other, I am absolutely loathe to get up my beloved open-toed shoes for another season. Five months without Birkenstocks and flip flops is an awfully long time :(

Oooo these sandals are perfect! Love the small heel. I love fall so much and am a little choked we’ve seen snow already

Ohh I love those sandals, and I definitely want a similar pair in my closet! I don't think I could deal with a 50 min. bus commute that is mostly standing, I feel like that would take away from all the good that I associate with not having to drive.

Those block heel sandals are great closet staples.
Here were are in the midst of our rainy season with flooding at least once a week...
