If I Could Only Drape Myself In It

Anyone out there a Seinfeld fan? There was episode where George Costanza talked about how, if it were only socially episode, he’d drape himself in velour every day. So that about sums it up for me.

That is such a cute velvet dress! I only have a velvet belt in my wardrobe now, but just like when I had a little velvet dress as a kid, I keep stroking and patting it through the day when I wear it, haha! Such a fun fabric :)

Hope that you are having a great weekend! Today we are going on our annual pre-Christmas shopping trip to finish our shopping and get each other gifts which will be a lot of fun :)

I've seen a lot of Seinfeld, but for some reason I can't remember the episode where George makes the statement about velour. Sounds like it's time to me to rewatch ;) Personally, my feeings on velour are a bit mixed, mainly because it makes me think of all the bodysuits I wore for gymnastics in the late nineties. But I can't deny how comfortable it is.

Haha I'm pretty sure I've titled a blog post the same at one point in time!
I do love velvet, and these days it's totally socially acceptable to drape yourself in it! Win!

I absolutely love Seinfeld ! It's such a genius sit com and so very relatable to even though time goes by.
Even though I do not recall the episode you mention, the one that always comes to mind is: the double dipper.
Now in regards to velour, is it the same as velvet, but just thinner ? I'm going to google it. Regardless, I like it.
