Snakeskin
The lightening in my living room at 7 am when I’m getting ready to leave for work and it’s still pitch black out (one of a number of lovely things associated with living in northern Canada) may be crappy, but it doesn’t affect my love for this Zara snakeskin pattern dress, which I picked up as a little post-Christmas gift to myself using some gift cards I received.

Oh, the joys of lighting in the winter. Honestly, I sometimes feel like we spend half the year in the dark. No matter how bright your home is in the summer, there is no competing with the cold winter light. Still, you managed to get pretty decent photos considering what you were up against. And this dress is fabulous - I have a pair of boots in a similar print that I absolutely love.

This dress is so on trend, with this print, in my opinion it will always be.
Here the only change we have with lighting is that now afternoons last at least one more hour. Meaning it's 7pm and dawn has just set in.
