Comfort Coat

I’m a sucker for a statement sleeve, and (unsurprisingly) a good black jacket. The recent spate of rainy weather here (all last week, now we've got a heat warning) allowed me to indulge myself fully with a more fall appropriate jacket. Honestly, fighting a vicious head cold (they say that for the first couple of years after you're child starts daycare it’s normal to get sick like 10 times a year and that totally tracks) also made curling up in a warmer jacket, even in late June, a pretty appealing prospect.

Great sleeves and just the right length as they do not get in your way.

Our niece recently started daycare and based on how many family visits we've had to cancel because my husband's job doesn't offer paid sick time confirms that daycare is, indeed, a bastion of germs. I feel for you. But getting to wear a coat in the summer is, admittedly, a nice perk now and then :)

I can not imagine being sick 10 times a year! That is quite the trade off for child care. Hope you are feeling better.
