Eleanor turned 3 on June 20 and, while an in-person party wasn’t really possible, I still think we did a nice job of decorating and hosting a little Zoom party for her. Honestly though, how is she this old already?

- This article, on Blackness in reality tv, particularly the Real Housewives franchise (my favourite, as readers likely know), is great.
- I’m obsessed with this series of photographic portraits by Shadi Ghadirian.
- I have long loved Porsha and she is doing some incredibly good work these days.

How is she already three?? Time flies. What a strange year to be having a birthday, any birthday, but it looks like you did everything you could to make it special despite the less than ideal circumstances :)

Happy birthday to your daughter! It looks like she would have enjoyed it - the cake and decorations are lovely! it's definitely a strange new world for celebrations, I'm hoping things get safer with time and we are allowed to do more, but we are back to some restrictions here with another outbreak so who knows - we might not be able to do Christmas with hubby's family (as everyone together is more than 10 people) unless the current restrictions lift :(
