Ladies Who Rock

My super sweet and super awesome help meet for life arrived in London on August 1 and we immediately headed off for a few days in Brighton (photos to come) to see the sights in the resort town and visit with a friend from Canada whose band is on tour in England. So I apologize for the lack of posts, but hey, everyone needs a long weekend sometimes! I’m formatting photos, etc. right now (I’ve got some Kew shots and Brighton was so amazing that I’ve got to share) but in the meantime, in keeping with my earlier post on my adolescent fashion icon, a certain Ms Courtney Love (now known as Captain Crazy Pants), I give the newest rock and roll gal whose style I’ve been crushing on: Brody Dalle. You may recognize her as leader of the seminal punk band The Distillers or as the former wife of Rancid’s Tim Armstrong but today she is fronting Spinnerette (who I actually posted on a while back – here’s the link. and being a mom to her daughter with Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme. Anyhoo, I love her look!
