Winter Warmth

For these dreary days of winter I dug out one of my favorite (and warmest) sweaters which I’ve owned for almost ten years now. I love the emerald green shade and the boat neck cut. I paired it with a necklace from my BFF (there’s actually a little tiny crab in there).

But I’m not totally stuck in a winter rut because a few days earlier I braved the cold to go out for fancy pants drinks at a posh bar for a friend’s birthday in this awesome little dress that I won in a giveaway from the fabulous Closet Fashionista. I paired it with a thrifted velvet bolero (and shorts underneath because it's a pretty short dress) that I got at one of my favorite thrift/vintage shops in Edmonton and was good to go!

I’ve also got spring on the brain (which is kind of odd for me because I actually really like winter and cold weather in general) and have been coveting these cute little numbers from ModCloth. But I’m on a self-imposed shopping ban until my birthday in April so dreaming of them will be all that I’ll do.

Theres something about a good sweater, I just cant throw one away. Even if its ten years old, they can always be resurrected!

I really love this necklace. They are so neat with these little arthropods inside. I've got one with a tiny scorpion inside because I am a scorpio.

I also love your sweater. Mainly for the colour and also for the boat neck because I am a huge fan of this kind of neckline.

Look forward to hearing from you

I definitely need more classy and professional looking clothes, in general. Every time I get on your blog, you are dressed so well and so professionally that it makes me realize just how much of a streetwalker/hooker/whore/slut I must appear when I go to school.
Okay, not really, but it's definitely not as professional as you.

... That whole comment just made me look bad.
Oh, well.
