Harrowing
So I had a somewhat harrowing experience in this outfit. My doctor wanted me to get a bunch of blood work done – mostly just routine and arising from a recent annual check up, some family history issues involving blood clotting, my ongoing B12 deficiency, etc, etc. So I dutifully fasted for 8 hours (it actually wound up being more like 10) and decided to stop off at a blood lab on my way to work, get the blood drawn, and then stop for a coffee and a muffin before hitting the office. Easy, right? But I was in for a bit of surprise because they proceeded to draw over 15 vials of blood at the testing place. I’ve never felt so queasy and light headed in my life.

WOOF. That is a lot of blood! I've only ever had blood drawn once (last year actually) and they only did 2 I think...I was terrified, haha

That experience sounds only too familiar. When I had my iron levels tested recently, my doctor decided it was also a good time to test me for any other disease that any person might have... Something like two pints of blood later, I stumbled to the office in a daze. Good thing we both survived to tell about it!

Yikes, that is a lot of blood- I get lightheaded pretty easily, too, so I imagine someone would have to carry me out!

That sounds like a lot of blood -
which reminds me that I need to get blood work done, however I just got a vaccine and I can only handle so many needles.
oh no!!! the worst!! you looked fab though!
I have low blood sugar, and lacked iron in my diet when I was younger so I had to take supplements for it. So, I definitely understand the light-headed queasy feeling. Love those sandals. :)
