Weekend Reading
- Have you ever wondered about the origin of those disclaimers in movies and tv shows about things being works of fiction, even when you know damn well they're based on a true story? Well, the origins of it are actually pretty fascinating.
- I’ve always had a bit of a minor obsession with Krampus and these photos just totally blew me away. I think I need to plan a trip to view one of these celebrations in person.
- This article about subtle class cues on your resume and how they matter is really, really fascinating.
- Want to read some delightfully bad restaurant reviews?
- This piece on objects and beehives is just mind blowing.

We've probably had more snow in Vancouver this year than in all the other years I've lived here put together, and it's made me realize just how important grip is on shoes - and just how much I had forgotten about that fact!! I definitely need to invest in a pair of ankle boots with reasonable grip.

Those bee hive objects are FREAKING ME OUT. They are cool and intriguing, but at the same time, horrifying.
The restaurant reviews cracked me up. I once left a bad Yelp review that came back to bit me in the ass. since I've decided that if I don't have anything nice to say, I wont say anything at all.

I did not know who Krampus was ... a friend mentioned it recently and although I mean to always google names and terms I don't know, well I totally forgot.
OMG I freaked out with those pics. If growing up instead of being told "if you´re good Santa will bring you presents.. " I'd been told "be good or Krampus will come for you.." I would have been good.
back to catching up with fave bloggers and getting inspired with their style...
kisses from dubai ❤️
