All the Frills: Nesting

Things are still very much in progress here, but I did recently get my ass in gear and made a pretty thorough start on getting the nursery ready. We’re welcoming a little girl but it will probably come as no surprise to most readers that I’m not really a fan of things pink and super girly so we kept things more in blues, greys, and yellows. Our wall art featuring notable queens and female leaders from history is my nod to the baby’s gender however.

I'd be with you there, not a huge pink girl either, hehe. Everything's looking good!

I love that you put all of those Rifle Paper Co. queen illustrations up on the wall in the nursery, such a wonderfully personal - and very forward-thinking - touch!

Awww a girl! Congrats!
I LOVE that you framed the calendar. I've been saving my rifle paper co calendar for two years because I said I was going to frame it and it has not happened yet.

I am not a huge pink fan either, I really love those pictures of queens, that's such a great idea. Perfectly suited for your offspring

I did not know it was a little girl !! Aww, I've always thought girls are more fun then again I am clueless ;)
You've gone pretty far, the nursery is ready and I like the idea of the queens and pink is overrated and a girly cliché.
