What are you reading these days?
Weekend Reading:
- Hell, half the time in grad school I couldn’t cogently explain to you what my PhD dissertation was focusing on.
- This sexy handmaid’s costume is an insult to so many things I hold dear. What the hell are we even doing as a society?
- This is a great opinion piece about the state of our society with respect to its treatment of women. It's been a rough time lately...
- This piece about a rape victim who was disbelieved and ostracized is really moving and very sad, yet ends with a hopeful note.

Since I'm finally finishing the first draft of my third book, I've been reading a lot more recently than I have over the past... let's be honest, several years. I borrow a lot of books from the people around me, because I will read anything that is printed. The result is that I only like about half the books I read, sometimes less ;) The most recent books I've really enjoyed are Whiter than Snow by Sandra Dallas and Vers la Beaute by David Foenkinos.
