I'm Something of a Seamstress

I stumbled into a Target last year and found this great skirt with a stripe pattern in rich chocolaty hues for a very, very low price provided I was willing to fix a loose hem. And I was. And that is the extent of my sewing skills – hems and buttons.

skirt: Target / top: Gap / cardigan: H&M / necklace: F21 / shoes: Aldo / tights: Calvin Klein via Marshall’s

This look is Fabulous! I am Loving that sweater. Hems and buttons...lol that is all I can do too. I have had a sewing machine for 4 years and never learned to use it. When I try I just get frustrated.

I can't even sew hems and buttons so your skills are a lot more advanced than mine. Well, I don't really attempt to do either but I remember Home Etc in middle school, my sewing skills were atrocious.

I love the outfit, the skirt is very pretty and I like the aldo shoes as well. Lovely bookcase, is it a built in? I love built in bookcases, china cabinets, etc!
