I stumbled into a Target last year and found this great skirt with a stripe pattern in rich chocolaty hues for a very, very low price provided I was willing to fix a loose hem. And I was. And that is the extent of my sewing skills – hems and buttons.

This look is Fabulous! I am Loving that sweater. Hems and buttons...lol that is all I can do too. I have had a sewing machine for 4 years and never learned to use it. When I try I just get frustrated.
I'm always bringing home fixer-upers, you usually can't beat the price!
and i always love a good pencil skirt!

I can't even sew hems and buttons so your skills are a lot more advanced than mine. Well, I don't really attempt to do either but I remember Home Etc in middle school, my sewing skills were atrocious.
I love the outfit, the skirt is very pretty and I like the aldo shoes as well. Lovely bookcase, is it a built in? I love built in bookcases, china cabinets, etc!

SO cute, and as usual your shoes make me drool a little bit.

Love the cardigan. And I cannot wait until we get a Target in Canada ; )
We have the same abilities: can fix simple hem and can sew a button ! that's about it for me too.
That is a marvelous skirt -
what a great skirt! And I'm loving those shoes too! xo
Sometimes the good deal is worth fixing up, I'm guilty of doing that too. Love your skirt.
That's about the extent of my skills too--well worth it in this case! Adorable skirt.
