I Really Can't Complain ... But That's Never Stopped Me

What day is it even? Seriously, the time is bleeding all together for me – despite sticking to a semi-normal schedule as I work from home. Meanwhile, the state of my hair continues to decline. All that said, I am fully aware that I have no right to actually complain about anything – we’re all healthy (as are family and friends) and all still working and that’s incredibly significant right now. How are you all doing?

I May Start Tearing My Hair Out Soon

Guys, I am in desperate need of a haircut. I realize that’s a very trivial thing and I am mindful of that (believe me) but it’s driving me mildly batty nonetheless. My first order of business when I can leave the house again will be chopping off a significant portion of my hair. The very thought of it brings me great joy!

Long Drives

Worn to venture out for a long drive and bit of a walk while on lock down. One needs to preserve one’s sanity after all…

I've Always Been Socially Distant

Worn for a day of social distancing that involved a drive and a bit of a walk (to get out of the house) and a quick visit with my parents (making sure to keep appropriate space between us, of course).

All the Frills: Renaissance Ring

I was gifted this amazing Swarovski ring for Festivus and I am just obsessed with it. I feel like a member of the Medici family in it, and of course it has a secret compartment that’s filled with poison so that I can eliminate my rivals.

Weekend Reading:

  • While I disagree with this person’s sentiments on Brett Kavanaugh, that’s okay because that, of course, in no way diminishes her feminist sensibilities – and this is a really good piece about embracing the complexities of difficult women and aspects of feminism.
  • Why are people so disgusting?
  • I love discoveries like this!
  • These paper wigs are mesmerizing.
