From Now On I Want To Drink Everything From This Bottle

I was recently offered the opportunity to test drive an amazing copper bottle for water.

Why would the fact that this water vessel is a copper bottle matter you ask? Well, turns out it can have some pretty great health benefits. Water stored in a copper bottle (known as “tamra jal” in the Ayurvedic medical tradition) is gently infused with the positive health properties of copper and helps balance the three doshas in your body (vata, kapha and pitta). Water stored in a copper bottle also becomes natural alkaline water which helps to balance your body’s pH levels.

Another great thing about this copper bottle is that the company producing it donates 15% of its profits to several non-profit organizations that work to supply clean drinking water in developing countries. So this copper bottle is good for you and good for others.

All that said, a major reason I love this copper bottle so much is that it’s incredibly stylish. It actually looks pretty great in my house (so I’m not rushing to get it into a cupboard when company comes over) and it also looks super cute tucked in my purse. You can learn more about the benefits of these bottles here and can also get your own copper bottle here. You can also learn more on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest with the handle @copperh2o and hashtag #copperh2o.

All the Frills: Is There Such A Thing As Too Many Rings?

I was organizing my jewelry box the other day and I’m starting to think I have entirely far too many rings … sigh.

Pre-Halloween

I purchased this rather ostentatious necklace for my Halloween costume (I‘m going as mid-cabaret act Countess Luann (if you watch Real Housewives of NYC you know what I’m talking about)) but decided it was too pretty to not take out for a pre-Halloween spin.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice

Guys, I got a Beetlejuice-esque blazer! And I have never been happier with the direction in which my life is headed.

Animal Print Addition

Just hanging about in my drive way, looking like I’m filled with murderous rage…

In all seriousness, I’ve very pleased with this animal print midi skirt that I acquired recently. I’ve been on the hunt for a piece like this for quite some time so now I can cross it off my seemingly never ending to-do list.

Feeling Surly

Another day, another opportunity to look unrelentingly sullen and mildly surly. I consider myself to be a generally pretty happy person – I’ve just got an epic resting bitch face and, in all fairness, I am usually low-key irritated about something pretty much all the time…
