Weekend Reading
- It just wouldn’t a proper Friday without some adorable cats.
- So this news story is just bonkers. Who was this guy? I’m guessing an intricate web of lies was a big part of his life.
- I’m a crier you guys (somewhat surprising I know). It really doesn’t take much to set me off and I read this story about the origins of I Love You Forever while on a bus. Lucking I was wearing sunglasses so I don’t think anyone except the lady beside me noticed that I was quietly sniffling/choking back sobs the rest of the ride.
- So this story about a misogynistic asshole masturbating on public transport is all kinds of gross and disturbing, but the statistic at the end about 100% of transit users in Paris experiencing some form of gender based harassment or violence is what’s really shocking.
- I know I already included a link about cats but I just can’t help myself.

I decorate with vintage cameras. It started with one, but as various family members have passed away over the years, my collection has grown quite substantial. And as for the Paris statistics, I can really speak to that - the Paris metro, while an utterly amazing system, is packed to the rafters with people at all times of day and night. I can honestly say that, simply because of a lack of space, I have more than once travelled with my head in someone's underarm. That's normal. It also makes the system a very easy place for violence and sexual harassment to occur.

Oh my that's disturbing, about those links, especially the Paris transit one. As for your decor, adding the element of coral is a stunning way to decorate in the home.

You and me both, lady! I have a few pieces I've collected from my beachy travels, but I also have a few decor pieces I've bought- like a neon yellow coral piece that sits on my dresser and a gold-dipped piece for my coffee table! :)
