Weekend Reading (and it's a feminist-heavy load of links!):
- So this might be the most ridiculous casting call ever.
- This story about a 90 year old who came out at age 70 is really moving and tragic in its way.
- You’ve got to love the so-called “men’s rights” movement. What a bunch of dangerous loonies.
- This article about a woman’s death from an illegal abortion, not to mention the callous partner and social structures that more or less forced her into it, is appalling. And a useful reminder that the lives of women are at stake when reproductive rights get stripped.
- This Reddit feed about rapists is truly horrifying.
- Japan’s treatment of these so-called “comfort women” is horrifying.
- This app showing places where women have made history is awesome – too bad women, by virtue of their gender, show up WAY less in the historical record than men…

Woohoo! It looks great! I used to use push pins straight in the wall but my mom made me a wooden thing with doorknobs on it for Christmas, haha

I LOOOOVE THIS! The frame looks super, and the silver tacks? YES. I am still trying to figure out how I want to display my necklaces. I've weeded out the ones I will never ever wear and have most of my necklaces on an antique mirrored holder or hanging from my Galactus figure :)
Your necklaces look great and so organized! Believe you me, out of sight is truly out of mind.
The story about the 90 year old was really beautiful in it's own way. Being forced to listen to the NPR by my dad ultimately resulted in my having an appreciation for it and the kinds of stories they bring.
Chic on the Cheap
This is such a brilliant idea - although to be honest, I really need to sort out my collection of necklaces and figure out which ones I haven't worn for years/can therefore get rid of before I think of doing any organizing!

Great jewellery and concept for necklaces. My sister does this, and I just keep mine in jewellery draws or bins. I really should get my jewellery sorted again. Happy New Year, if I've not said it yet.
Retro Winter
Love this! So easy to use! My husband made a similar one for me last year. :) Love all of your gorgeous necklaces!
