Winter Weather?

I’m still waiting for appropriately chilly winter weather to kick in here on the east coast … I decided to bust out a cozy turtleneck to help me visualize proper winter weather in the hopes that that would hurry it along (although the forecast does call for chillier weather this weekend).

leggings: American Apparel / shorts: F21 / boots: Thom Brown / sweater: New York and Company / jacket: Target

While I don't want to get too far ahead of myself because it's far from a done deal, I did get some good news on the job front this morning. After my interviews at the conference in Chicago last week I was contacted for an on campus visit (basically I travel there for a few days to give a lecture and meet with various people/have more interviews and attend a series of social functions). So I am both intensely excited and incredibly terrified.

Until Monday, check me out on Facebook, follow me on Twitter, and hit up my Tumblr.

Congratulations on your interview and good luck! Sorry that the weather is disappointing you. I am super happy that we didn't get any snow so far this year! yay!

That is brilliant new, well done!!! Even here in the UK we haven't had the cold winter we usually get its really strange!

Congrats about the news! Best of luck on your campus visit, I'm sure you will do well.

I love this outfit! I've said it many times but these boots are seriously the best. The weather is so unpredictable, everyday I have to check to see what temperature it will be because as of lately it is anywhere between 20 and almost 70.

I think it just snowed this morning; not enough for it to be pretty. Just enough to be annoying. Lol.

But congrats :D Are you going for a University Professor position? I'm sure you'll do fine. Don't stress yourself out! :)

Does this mean a possible move to Chicago??? If so, AMAZING! I adore that city. Is it dumping snow down east like it is in Toronto? Bleck. Loving the cowl neck sweater.
