I Dressed Up ... For Nothing

I honestly can’t remember the last time I actually wore a dress to “work” (also known as sitting in front of a computer all day, in total solitude and isolation). I guess it’s good to mix things up?

I miss my office dresses! They just don't seem right for work from home days, or even days with the school run and working from home. I'm trying to challenge myself to wear a dress at least once a week though as I noticed I was in a bit of a tee rut! it's nice to change it up a little even if the day doesn't seem like it calls for a dress!

Hope that you are having a good weekend!

I feel like if we don't mix things up a bit, we might all go insane - so why not put that dress on? These days I put outfits together just to have something to do, even if I have no reason to wear them. Whatever staves off the boredom for a while is fine with me.

Yep...haven't worn a dress since summer. No need to wear it for our own Thanksgiving alone at home. Can't wait to wear one again!

Haha, hear you. These days I'm really just dressing up for the hell of it - even though I have nowhere to go! As for your dress?? Gorgeous, love how you styled it too!! xo

The only time I put on a dress is to shoot for the blog- it's a nice change from the super comfy sweaters and leggings I've been living in!

I can fell you! I'm so tired of my everyday sweatpants! I would like to wear my favorite dress, go out and enjoy a beautiful sun! But unfortunately, that day hasn't come yet! Anyway, I love your dress:)

During the summer I was all about the easy little black dress (you know, the kind made out of some poly spandex blend where you couldn't wrinkle it if you tried) for lounging around the house, but in the winter a dress just feels like too much effort. I think you deserve an award for putting the effort, and I love that necklace.
